Our take on designing playgrounds that are worth travelling for!

When Copenhagen's iconic stock exchange "Børsen" went up in flames earlier this year, it got us thinking about buildings and their significance.

Often we think of learning as something that happens in a classroom in front of a textbook, but environments for learning can be so much more diverse and inspiring.

At Hudson River Park, amongst towering skyscrapers and the hustle and bustle of New York City, you'll find two huge sturgeons.

With Christmas and the end of the year fast approaching, we're looking back at the year that has passed at MONSTRUM.

We've sent out some exciting projects recently - particularly a few stunning feathered friends - and we're delighted to see these playscapes realized out in the wild, bringing joy to communities.

Here in the Northern hemisphere, we're well into the autumn season and the days are getting notably shorter - a phenomenon that seems to take us by surprise every year! To promote play at all times of day, in every season, we have incorporated striking lighting features into several of our playground designs...

Success isn't child's play at MONSTRUM - but it's not far off! MONSTRUM have been commissioned to design three imaginative, colourful and artistic wooden playgrounds for the world exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai.
