BUILDINGS OF IDENTITY
When Copenhagen's iconic stock exchange "Børsen" went up in flames earlier this year, it got us thinking.
The strong reactions to the extensive damage to this cultural landmark - a symbol of the Copenhagen landscape - demonstrated the significance of buildings and the stories they tell, the history they embody, and the values they represent.
The sense of identity they give us. Young and old.
We are happy to have created playground versions of several of Copenhagen's iconic towers, including the Børsen tower, at the city's largest public park.
Here, kids can learn about and experience the cultural history of our city up close.
THE TOWERS OF ZWEIBRÜCKEN
This charming playground is a great example of how miniature versions of a city's iconic architecture can create a fun and educational experience for its youngest citizens.
The playground is inspired by two important buildings in Zweibrücken—the tower of Karlskirche and the tower of Tschifflik, a beautiful Baroque house.
The roses are also a fun cultural element, as Zweibrücken is known as the "City of Roses" and attracts visitors from all over the world to its expansive rose garden.
