Boy playing on musical play feature at inclusive playground

NEW PROJECT | USA THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
AND SONGBIRD VILLAGE

Rooted in inclusivity, the new playground at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha invites children of all abilities to play, explore, and connect. Thoughtfully designed, it features tactile and sensory elements, musical play opportunities, and accessible ramps to ensure every child can join the fun.

Step into the neighbourhood, wander through the marketplace, and climb into the giant birdhouses—each space packed with rich details and sensory play features.

OUR INCLUSIVE APPROACH FANTASTIC PLAYFOR ALL

At MONSTRUM, our designs prioritize accessibility, creating inclusive spaces where all children can play together, fully integrating accessible play into our elements rather than isolating it in standalone accessible objects.

Our approach to creating inclusive playgrounds is reflected in six focus areas: narrative, access, challenges, socializing, safe spaces, and sensory experiences.
