The scene at Hampi playground at Bellewaerde theme park is a juxtaposition of the old and the new - inspired by both grand buildings such as the Taj Mahal and the historic monuments and temple ruins of the ancient village of Hampi in India.
The playground comprises multiple towers that depict ancient temples, that are in ruins and in the process of being reconstructed. There are both jungle temples and the more grand domed temples, all interconnected by bridges forming one cohesive structure and a continuous flow of play.
Framed by bamboo scaffolding, which underpins the story of the reconstruction of the monuments, the temples create a thrilling trail of adventure for kids to discover!
