INCLUSIVE PLAY

The larger-than-life Atlantic and shortnose sturgeons are designed to immerse kids in the marine life of the Hudson River - combining play and learning seamlessly. Short, fun facts on the structures describe the fish and their habitat and on the insides of the structures, kids can discover the major organs of the sturgeon and travel through their digestive system.

The playground is designed with all abilities in mind and meets the standards for accessibility laid out by ADA. Features such as ramps, transfer platforms, and low, broad openings to the large sturgeon make the playground inclusive for many ages and abilities.
