Lund

Lund, Sweden

This small city is composed of a series of small playhouses, connected by a network of paths that meander through the small town.

The entrance to the playground is a playhouse based on Lund Coat of Arms and the other playhouses all refer to the World Exhibition in Lund. Children’s version of ‘LUX A / B’s incandescent bulb pavilion’ towers above the playground and from its top you can run down to the big slide with your best friend. The path system that binds the playground’s elements together is wavy and twisted and has a small roundabout in the middle, just like a real city. On the way from the gate edge against the small community is that great Dutch coffee roastery where you can get inside the beautiful rooms and have a cup of coffee and a freshly baked mud cake.

2014 i Stadsparken i Lund.
